The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education®
be yourself more freely
Neuroplasticity is the key:
Brain and body learn together.
Rooted in neuroplasticity, and functional anatomy, the method is a way for us to access our human potential for learning. We access this through movement, the place of magic between intention and action. In truth, there is no separation between body and self--we are our bodies, so we work with the whole person.

We all have the capacity to improve
We all have the capacity to improve.
The Method works through hands on somatic education, or through classes. The work is always individualized, because no one of us has had the same experiences, or the same exact structure. And yet, because of what we know of the nervous system, how we learn, we know we all have the capacity to improve.

Move Better, Feel Better
Learn a new way of working with what you have.
For many of us the injuries we have are a direct result of the way we have learned to organize movement. That is not to say our injuries our fault, but is simply to acknowledge that how we adapted to do what we thought was right, what we learned about ourselves, and how we coped with injury and cultural demands—it has asked of us an enormous task. With the Feldenkrais Method, you have an opportunity to let go of the patterns of movement that do not serve you and find your way to another way to move that will help you find your potential.
